Starting today, AWS Gateway Load Balancer is available in the US East (Ohio), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and EU (Frankfurt and Stockholm) regions.
AWS Gateway Load Balancer is a new service that helps you deploy, scale, and manage third-party virtual network appliances such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, analytics, and traffic visibility systems. An addition to the Elastic Load Balancer family, AWS Gateway Load Balancer combines a transparent network gateway (that is, a single entry and exit point for all traffic) and a load balancer that distributes traffic and scales your virtual appliances based on demand.
