Amazon Monitron is an end-to-end system that uses machine learning (ML) to detect abnormal conditions in industrial equipment, enabling you to implement predictive maintenance and reduce unplanned downtime. It includes sensors to capture vibration and temperature data from equipment, a gateway device to securely transfer data to AWS, the Amazon Monitron service that analyzes the data for abnormal equipment conditions using machine learning, and a companion mobile app to set up the devices and receive reports on operating behavior and alerts to potential failures in your equipment. Today, we are announcing that the Amazon Monitron service is now also available in Europe (Ireland). This is in addition to the US East (N.Virginia) region where the Amazon Monitron service is already available.
With the addition of the Europe (Ireland) region, European customers can now use the Amazon Monitron service in a more geographically local region and experience lower latency.
Amazon Monitron helps monitor and detect potential failures in a broad range of rotating equipment such as motors, gearboxes, pumps, fans, bearings, and compressors. Monitron Sensors and Gateways, also available in combination as a Starter Kit, are available to purchase on Amazon.com or with your Amazon Business account, in US, UK, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy. The Amazon Monitron service is available in the US East (N.Virginia) and Europe (Ireland) regions and you can download the Monitron app from the Google Play Store.
