AWS Proton now features a cancellation API to help you manage your deployments in real time. You can use the cancel deployment API to stop the deployment of a service and try again if it’s taking too long or has an error.
Developers use AWS Proton as the single interface to create, manage, and deploy their services and infrastructure. In the past, they would need additional help from infrastructure teams when deployments get stuck or take too long to deploy. Now with the Cancel Deployment API, developers can stop a deployment in process and try again later, without requiring additional support. This gives developers the capacity to make adjustments and retry in a self-serve manner.
