Host Resource Groups, which is a logical collection of Dedicated Hosts that you can manage as a single entity, now support AWS CloudFormation, allowing customers to create Host Resource Groups using CloudFormation templates and automate EC2 Dedicated Host management.
Host Resource Groups are seamlessly integrated with AWS License Manager. Once customers onboard to Host Resource Groups, License Manager takes care of host management and license tracking, on their behalf. Customers can enjoy the flexibility and cost effectiveness of using their own licenses on Dedicated Hosts, but with the simplicity, resiliency, and elasticity of AWS.
