Starting today, Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) is available in seven additional AWS Regions. These AWS Regions are Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Osaka, Seoul), Europe (Milan, Paris, Stockholm), and Middle East (Bahrain). This launch makes BYOIP available in all commercial regions, AWS GovCloud (US-East), and AWS GovCloud (US-West).
BYOIP allows you to bring your own IPv4 and IPv6 addresses to AWS. You can use these IP addresses the same way you use Amazon provided IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, including advertising them to the Internet. You can also create Elastic IP addresses from your BYOIPv4 addresses and use them with AWS resources such as EC2 instances, Network Load Balancers, and NAT gateways.
There is no additional charge to use the BYOIP feature. Also, you don’t have to pay for Elastic IP addresses that you create from BYOIP address prefixes.
