The Amazon Interactive Video Service (Amazon IVS) console and APIs for control and creation of video stream resources are now available in Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Seoul), and Europe (Frankfurt). Video ingest and delivery are available around the globe over a separate managed network of infrastructure optimized for live video.
Previously, the console and APIs were only available in US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Ireland). With this expansion, you can now use the Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Seoul), and Europe (Frankfurt) regions to manage Amazon IVS channels alongside your other AWS resources. For example, you can use one of the new regions both to manage your Amazon IVS channels and to store your recordings of live video output in Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) buckets.
Amazon Interactive Video Service (Amazon IVS) is a managed live streaming solution that is quick and easy to set up, and ideal for creating interactive video experiences. Send your live streams to Amazon IVS using standard streaming software like Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) and the service does everything you need to make low-latency live video available to any viewer around the world, letting you focus on building interactive experiences alongside the live video.
