QuickSight Q can now accept full questions as input without requiring users to type them in when used in embedded mode. This new feature allows developers to create question as widgets at appropriate placements on their web applications making it easy for their users to discover the capability to ask questions about data within the current context of their user journey.
Developers who have embedded Q in their web application can now can optionally call setQBarQuestion() to submit a question to the Q bar based on user interactions such as clicks. Such questions are submitted to Q and are answered instantly opening the Q answer panel automatically. Developers can also optionally close Q answer panel with a call to closeQPopover() that closes the Q answer panel. To learn more, see Amazon QuickSight Embedding SDK.
