Today, we are enhancing the AWS Organizations console to enable you to centrally view and update the primary contact information for your AWS accounts. This follows the release of the Primary Contact Information API that enabled you to programmatically manage primary contact information for accounts in your organization. With this launch, you can now also use the console to easily perform this operation without logging into each account separately. We already launched API and Organizations console support for alternate contacts, and support for additional account settings will be available in future releases.
AWS Organizations helps you centrally manage and govern your environment as you grow and scale your AWS resources. Your organization’s administrators can now use the console UI in the management account to centrally manage primary contact information for member accounts without requiring credentials for each AWS account. To update the management account primary contact information via the console, customers will still need to use the Billing Console at this time.
The ability to update primary contact information on AWS accounts from the Organizations console is available at no additional charge in all commercial AWS Regions. To learn more about this feature, see the documentation.
