Today Amazon Polly, a service that turns text into lifelike speech, announced the general availability of three new neural Text-to-speech (NTTS) voices: Elin for Swedish, Ida for Norwegian and Suvi for Finnish.
We have designed all three voices to sound friendly and welcoming to make them suitable for general content in publication, interactive voice response services and for educational use cases. With this launch Amazon Polly offers now Neural TTS support for 26 languages and language variants.
Elin, Ida and Suvi are availble in all AWS regions supporting Neural TTS. For more details, please read the Amazon Polly documentation and review our full list of Amazon Polly text-to-speech voices.
