AWS IoT RoboRunner is an AWS for Robotics service that unlocks new use cases for robotics automation by helping fleets of robots seamlessly work together. AWS IoT RoboRunner reduces the complex development work required to build the applications you need to provide multivendor interoperability.
AWS IoT RoboRunner collects and combines data from each robot’s fleet manager and standardizes in a central repository data types like robot status and location. AWS IoT RoboRunner features facilitate interoperability. Such features include Fleet Manager System Gateway, which manages robot vendor connections to AWS IoT RoboRunner, and Shared Space Management, which coordinates robot traffic in common spaces such as corridors. You can also use AWS IoT RoboRunner API operations and sample code to build applications on top of the centralized repository, for use cases such as robot location and status visualization. With AWS IoT RoboRunner, enterprises can improve the efficiency of running multivendor robotics fleets and reduce the costs of running operations.
AWS IoT RoboRunner is now generally available in the US East (N. Virginia) and Europe (Frankfurt) Regions.
