Amazon EMR Serverless is a serverless option that makes it simple for data analysts and engineers to run open-source big data analytics frameworks without configuring, managing, and scaling clusters or servers.
Today, we are excited to launch near real-time job-level metrics using Amazon CloudWatch. You can now monitor EMR Serverless application jobs by job state every minute. This makes it simple to track when jobs are running, successful, or failed. You can also get a single view of application capacity usage and job-level metrics in a CloudWatch dashboard. To get started, deploy the dashboard provided in the emr-serverless-samples git repo to your account.
Amazon CloudWatch metrics for EMR Serverless are available in all AWS regions where EMR Serverless is available. To learn more and get started, see the documentation here.
