Today, we are excited to announce the CDK library for Amazon SageMaker Role Manager. This CDK library allows you to define activity based fine-grained permissions in minutes.
The CDK support for Amazon SageMaker Role Manager lets ML administrators define permissions with fine-grained access for SageMaker users, jobs and SageMaker pipelines programmatically. Today, Amazon SageMaker Role Manager lets you define custom permissions for SageMaker users via a UI based workflow in minutes. ML administrators can select a pre-defined policy templates and ML activities, and provide necessary details such as VPC and KMS keys to create a role. ML administrators can now automate these tasks programmatically by using the CDK library thus reducing manual effort and ensuring consistency in permissions management on SageMaker.
Amazon SageMaker Role Manager is available in all Amazon Web Services regions where Amazon SageMaker is currently available, except the Amazon Web Services GovCloud (US) regions.
