Today, AWS Clean Rooms announces two new capabilities: the general availability of configurable analysis results setting and the preview of Apache Iceberg support. These launches give customers more flexibility to configure AWS Clean Rooms collaborations with their preferred result recipient and data format.

Configurable analysis results settings enable customers who set up an AWS Clean Rooms collaboration to separate the member specified to run analysis queries from the member approved to receive the collaboration results, instead of the output automatically going to the querying member. This capability increases flexibility of use for customer use cases such as helping brands perform advertising campaign analyses and directing collaboration outputs to publishers, or enabling medical research institutions to obtain a third party assessment to get expert determination before publishing clinical trial analyses. Apache Iceberg support enables customers to run analyses in AWS Clean Rooms on associated data stored in Apache Iceberg tables, helping them collaborate on the most updated data at at the record level with seamless schema and partition evolution support.

AWS Clean Rooms helps companies and their partners more easily analyze and collaborate on their collective datasets—without sharing or copying one another’s underlying data. Companies can deploy their own clean rooms without having to build, manage, or maintain their own solutions and without moving data outside of their AWS environment.

AWS Clean Rooms is generally available in these AWS Regions. To learn more, visit AWS Clean Rooms.
