Today, AWS HealthOmics launched the ability for customers to version genomic annotation data. Previously, customers would create a new annotation store for each version of the data source they needed to support. Now, as customers add or update data, they can create new versions within existing annotation stores to simplify how they organize and govern their data. This makes it easier to build and share this data across an organization.
AWS HealthOmics is a fully managed service that helps healthcare and life science organizations and their software partners store, query, and analyze genomic, transcriptomic, and other omics data and then generate insights from that data to improve health and advance scientific discoveries.
Support for cross-account sharing is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Omics is generally available: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London), and Asia Pacific (Singapore).
