AWS Marketplace now offers more convenient methods of payment for customers leveraging the flexible payment scheduler. Partners selling on AWS Marketplace can extend AWS Marketplace Private Offers with the flexible payment scheduler to customers on any AWS approved payment method - credit cards, bank accounts, Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) network, or invoicing terms.
Before this launch, partners could only extend a flexible payment schedule for private offers when the customer was already on invoicing terms with AWS. This restricted customers from receiving their preferred payment schedule and price when they were not on invoicing terms. Partners needed to ensure the customer was on net terms before extending a flexible payment-based private offer to the customer.
Now partners can extend private offers with flexible payment schedules to customers on any AWS approved payment method, removing the restriction for customers to be on invoicing terms. This launch enables customers to be on their favored payment method while still availing of the flexible payments for private offer. It helps expedite sales cycle for the customers and sellers on AWS Marketplace.
