Starting today, AWS India customers can securely save their India issued credit or debit card as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines.
Today customers have to manually enter their card information in payments console for each payment. With this launch customers can save time and effort by using the cards securely saved in Billing dashboard for faster and efficient future invoice payments.
This feature launch is for customers using India issue debit or credit card and with AWS India as their Seller of Record.
Customers can log-in to the AWS console and head to Billing Dashboard > Payment Preferences, click ‘Add Payment method’, select debit / credit card option and input the card details and billing address. Customers also need to provide consent by selecting the checkbox “Save card information for faster future payments’. Customers will be redirected to their bank website to verify the card. Customers can also save the card when signing-up for AWS service or making a payment of an existing invoice.
