Starting today you can use Terraform to provision and configure your Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion pipelines and benefit from Terraform’s Infrastructure as Code capabilities to automate and streamline the deployment of Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion pipelines, providing you with a fast, repeatable, and secure deployment option that can scale.
Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion is a fully managed data ingestion tier for Amazon OpenSearch Service that allows you to ingest and process petabyte-scale data before indexing it in Amazon OpenSearch-managed clusters and serverless collections. With this feature, you can now use Terraform to define a pipeline with its source, processors and sinks, configure parameters like min/max OCUs, persistent buffering, etc., and then automate the deployment of pipelines. Using Terraform for deployments, you can ensure that your configurations are measured and validated, minimizing the chances of errors caused by human oversight.
You can deploy ingestion pipelines using Terraform in all the 15 Regions that Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion is available in today : US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), US West (N. California), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Europe (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Canada (Central), South America (Sao Paulo), and Europe (Stockholm).
