Amazon Web Services

AWS Systems Manager has introduced a new low-code visual designer for creating automation runbooks. This feature simplifies the process of building custom automation workflows for common maintenance, deployment, and remediation operations. The visual designer offers a drag-and-drop interface with over 20 actions, including loops, if statements, and scripting options. Users can incorporate AWS APIs, existing runbooks, and custom scripts into their workflows. The tool also includes an integrated Amazon CodeGuru feature for security scanning and a code editor for working directly with JSON or YAML. This new capability makes it easier for IT professionals to create, visualize, and modify complex automation tasks within AWS Systems Manager.
