This video introduces two key features in AWS Security Hub: Consolidated Controls View and Consolidated Control Findings. The Consolidated Controls View provides a centralized page to view security controls across standards, helping users quickly identify misconfigurations and understand control status. It introduces unique security control IDs and allows enabling/disabling controls across standards in one action. Consolidated Control Findings reduces noise by producing a single finding per security check, even when a control is shared across multiple standards. This simplifies investigation and remediation of findings. The demo showcases the new controls page, highlighting the security score, breakdown of checks, and filtering options. These features aim to streamline security management and reduce administrative overhead in AWS environments.
