The platform ingests 4,000 data streams, using technologies like Kafka, EMR, Flink, Hudi, S3, Aurora, and Redshift to handle real-time data processing and storage. This centralized data lake serves various user groups including factory developers, data scientists, and analysts, enabling them to implement diverse use cases from real-time applications to machine learning models and business intelligence reports. The platform has processed over 30 terabytes of data and generated 500+ applications, supporting Pirelli's digital transformation efforts and providing a unified data source for the company.
