CloudShell is designed to inherit the credentials of the user signed in to the AWS Management Console.

CloudShell is managed, including recent security patches and versions of the operating system and the installed tools.
CloudShell comes with persistent storage for your home directory. Persistent storage enables you to store your frequently used scripts and configuration files between CloudShell sessions.
