Bahmni is an integrated digital healthcare solution created by Thoughtworks. Designed to improve the quality of patient care in settings with limited bandwidth and infrastructure, Bahmni has grown from being used in one hospital in 2013, to more than 500 sites in 51 countries today.

Thoughtworks created Bahmni (a DPI) in 2013, as an open-source electronic medical record and hospital information management system.
