Starting today you can use AWS CloudFormation templates to create, update, and delete AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate and AWS OpsWorks for Puppet Enterprise servers in an orderly and predictable fashion. AWS OpsWorks is a fully managed configuration management service that hosts and scales Chef Automate and Puppet Enterprise servers.
AWS CloudFormation automates the process of creating and managing AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate and AWS OpsWorks for Puppet Enterprise servers. You can also create and update server configurations as part of your AWS CloudFormation template.
AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate and AWS OpsWorks for Puppet Enterprise are available in these AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), EU (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and Asia Pacific (Sydney).
To get started using AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate and AWS OpsWorks for Puppet Enterprise in AWS CloudFormation, go to the AWS CloudFormation console.
