Hello, I'm Hannah, a technical customer support associate here at the AWS office in Dublin Ireland. Today, I will show you the Aws free tier and how to monitor your use of AWS free tier services. Let's get started. Aws free tier offers customers the opportunity to try out Aws services for free up to a specified limit. There are three different types of offerings under the Aws free tier trials. The short time trial offers start from the date you activate a service. You pay standard rates after the trial period expires 12 months free. This provides limited usage for 12 months after your initial signup date. You pay standard rate after your twelvemonth free usage term expires or if your application use exceeds the free tier limits always free. This is available to all Aws customers and doesn't expire at the end of your twelvemonth Aws retail term. Your Twelvemonth Aws free tier expires at the end of the month of your account anniversary. The 12 month period cannot be extended even though your access to services isn't restricted to Aws free tier. It is best practice to monitor your Aws free tier usage so that you don't attract unwanted charges. You can use the Aws budget tool to monitor your usage. The tool notifies of the following condition. Your actual spend is when it reaches 85% your actual spend reaches 100%. If your forecasted spend is expected to reach 100% to create Aws. Budgets log into your Aws account and go to your billing Console. Choose budget, choose create budget input all information and save. You can find more information about Aws free tier by opening the article linked in the description for this video. So now you know what the Aws free tier is and how to monitor your use of AWS free tier services. Thanks for watching and happy cloud computing from all of us here at Aws.
