We are excited to release the Developer Preview of the next major version of our AWS SDK for .NET. The Version 2 SDK adds support for Windows Store and Windows Phone apps, helping Windows developers use the AWS cloud from these new platforms. The SDK also adopts the .NET task-based asynchronous pattern, which simplifies making asynchronous calls with the new async and await keywords.
