AWS CodeStar, which enables you to quickly develop, build, and deploy applications on AWS, now integrates with GitHub. Starting now, each AWS CodeStar project template will provide you an option to use GitHub as your version control system for the software projects you build with AWS.
Additionally, your CodeStar project dashboard will now enable you to centrally track GitHub activities including commits, issues, and pull requests. CodeStar’s dashboard makes it easy to manage project activity across various components of your continuous delivery toolchain and adding the GitHub dashboard view will further simplify project management for your AWS applications. Learn more about this integration from our latest blog post.
AWS CodeStar provides a unified user interface, enabling you to easily manage your software development activities in one place. AWS CodeStar makes it easy for your whole team to work together securely, allowing you to easily manage access and add owners, contributors, and viewers to your projects. Each AWS CodeStar project comes with a project dashboard, including an integrated issue tracking capability powered by Atlassian JIRA Software. With AWS CodeStar, you can easily track progress across your entire software development process, from your backlog of work items to teams’ recent code deployments.
CodeStar is available in the US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), US West (N. California), EU (London), EU (Ireland), EU (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and Asia Pacific (Singapore) regions.
