Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) now supports 512 locks per file.
The new limit is an increase from 87 locks per file and is available in all regions for new and existing file systems.
The 512-lock limit allows applications to use additional locks enabling higher levels of concurrency and increased performance.
