Announcing a 25% price reduction for Amazon EC2 X1 Instances in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) AWS Region
Starting today, Amazon EC2 X1 instance pricing has been reduced by 25% in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) AWS region.
Amazon EC2 X1 Instances are a part of the Amazon EC2 memory-optimized instance family and are designed for running large-scale and in-memory applications in the AWS Cloud. X1 instances offer up to 1,952 GiB of DRAM based memory. Each X1 instance is powered by four Intel® Xeon® E7 8880 v3 processors and offers up to 128 vCPUs.
EC2 X1 instances are ideal for running in-memory databases like SAP HANA, big data processing engines like Apache Spark or Presto, and high-performance computing (HPC) applications. X1 instances are certified by SAP to run production environments of the next-generation Business Suite S/4HANA, Business Suite on HANA (SoH), Business Warehouse on HANA (BW), and Data Mart Solutions on HANA on the AWS Cloud.
