Amazon Route 53 Launches Private DNS and Health Checks in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) Region

You can now use Amazon Route 53 private DNS and health checks for public endpoints in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) Region, an AWS Region that is designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud for customers who have U.S. federal, state, and local government compliance requirements.

Amazon Route 53 is a highly available and scalable cloud Domain Name System (DNS) web service. With this launch, you can use Amazon Route 53 private DNS and configure DNS health checks to route traffic to healthy endpoints or to monitor the health of your applications in AWS GovCloud (US-East) Region.
