AWS Managed Services (AMS) Simplifies ServiceNow integration

Posted on: Oct 21, 2019

The AWS Managed Services (AMS) ServiceNow Connector V2.0 application is now available in the ServiceNow app store. ServiceNow an IT service management (ITSM) platform built around activities, tasks, processes, and workflows. You can now use ServiceNow change requests to rapidly deploy infrastructure from over 30 different AWS services into your AMS environment, and receive support from the AMS operations team through incidents and service requests. You no longer need to log into the AMS Console to perform these activities, and the application works across multiple AMS accounts simultaneously.

Incidents, change requests, and service requests created through the Connector application in ServiceNow are actioned by the AMS operations team. You can also build on the ServiceNow platform to further configure the application to implement common scenarios such as granting certain ServiceNow users and groups access to specific stacks or resources, and associating your ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to your AMS infrastructure change requests, incidents, or service requests.

The AMS ServiceNow Connector V2.0 application is available in all the AWS Regions where AMS is available. The application is certified for use on New York, Madrid, London, and Kingston releases.
