The AWS Serverless Application Repository is now available in Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) and Middle East (Bahrain) regions. The addition of these regions increases the availability of the AWS Serverless Application Repository, which offers region support for Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), Canada (Central), EU (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris), South America (São Paulo), US West (N. California, Oregon), US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), and AWS GovCloud regions. With this launch, the AWS Serverless Application Repository is now available in 20 commercial regions.

The Serverless Application Repository is a managed repository for serverless applications. Individual developers, teams and organizations can store and share their serverless applications, and discover and deploy applications shared by other AWS customers. Using the Serverless Application Repository, you don't need to clone, build, package, or publish source code to AWS before deploying it. Instead, you can deploy any publicly available or privately shared pre-built application with a single click in your own serverless architectures, reducing duplicate work, ensuring organizational best practices, and getting to market faster.

To get started, define your application using the AWS Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM) and share your applications using the AWS Command Line Interface or the AWS Management Console. For more details, visit the Serverless Application Repository documentation.
