Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth Now Supports More Refined Access Control

Posted on: Nov 19, 2019

Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth now enables better control and access with condition keys specific to Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth. You can use these condition keys in the Condition element of an Identity and Access Management (IAM) policy to further refine the conditions under which the policy statement applies.

Specifically, you can use these condition keys to restrict the access of your IAM users to specific work teams using their workforce type. All work teams fall into one of the three workforce types, Amazon Mechanical Turk (public), third-part data labeling service providers (vendor), or your own workers (private). If the user attempts to create a labeling job with a restricted work team, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth returns an access denied error.

This new feature is now available in a total of 12 AWS regions around the world. Visit the Amazon SageMaker developer guide for more information.
