AWS Systems Manager Quick Setup now supports targeting all instances
AWS Systems Manager Quick Setup now enables you to target all instances in an account. Now, with a single click you can enable operational actions, like patch compliance scanning and instance inventory collection, across all instances in an account within an AWS Region.
Quick Setup automates your instance permission setup for Systems Manager and keeps your Systems Manager agents up to date. Quick Setup also enables scanning for patches and collecting software inventory, providing visibility into the security and compliance of your instances. From Quick Setup, you can also install, configure, and schedule updates for the Amazon CloudWatch agent to provide enhanced monitoring for your instances.
To get started, chose Quick Setup from the Systems Manager left navigation menu. Quick Setup is available in all GovCloud (US) and commercial Regions. For more information about Quick Setup, visit the AWS Systems Manager product page and documentation.
