AWS Transit Gateway Network Manager now includes support for AWS CloudFormation

Posted on: Mar 23, 2020

Today, AWS Transit Gateway Network Manager added support for AWS CloudFormation with templates for building global networks across the cloud and on-premises. This improvement enables you to automate the creation of global networks, register transit gateways, associate customer gateways, and define your on-premises resources within global network such as devices, sites, and links in a secure, efficient, and repeatable way.

AWS Transit Gateway Network Manager provides a single global view of your private network to help reduce the complexity of managing a global network across AWS and on-premises. With Network Manager, you set up a global view of your private network simply by registering your Transit Gateways and on-premises resources. Your global network can then be visualized and monitored via a centralized operational dashboard. For more information, visit Network Manager product page.

CloudFormation support for AWS Transit Gateway Network Manager is available in these AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), US West (N. California), Europe (Ireland), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (London), Europe (Paris), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Canada (Central), and South America (São Paolo).
