Posted on: Apr 29, 2020

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the general availability of Amazon SageMaker Notebooks and the availability of Amazon SageMaker Studio in additional AWS regions. Amazon SageMaker Notebooks provide a collaborative and quick-start experience. These Jupyter notebooks can be accessed via Amazon SageMaker Studio, a fully integrated development environment for the complete machine learning workflow.

Amazon SageMaker Notebooks can be launched quickly without needing to manually provision an instance and waiting for it to be operational. You also have the flexibility to choose the required compute instance from a range of supported instances. The notebook experience is integrated with AWS Single Sign-On (SSO), making it easy to use your organizational credentials to access your notebooks at any time. Amazon SageMaker Deep Learning Container images and the SageMaker SDK are built-in with these notebooks allowing you to build, train, debug, track, and monitor your models programmatically. You can also share your notebooks with your peers with a single click.

Amazon SageMaker Notebooks and Amazon SageMaker Studio are now generally available in US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and EU (Ireland) AWS regions with additional regions coming soon. Please read the product documentation to learn more.
