Announcing availability of AWS Outposts in nine additional countries in Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Middle East

AWS Outposts can now be shipped and installed at customer datacenters and on-premises locations in Brazil, India, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Taiwan, and Thailand, and supported in three additional Regions: AWS Africa (Cape Town) Region, Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region, and South America (São Paulo) Region.  

AWS Outposts is a fully managed service that extends AWS infrastructure, AWS services, APIs, and tools to virtually any customer datacenter, co-location space, or on-premises facility for a truly consistent hybrid experience. Outposts is ideal for applications that need to run on-premises to meet low latency requirements. You can also use Outposts to process and manage data locally and effectively meet your data residency requirements.  

With the availability of Outposts in these nine additional countries, customers can leverage AWS Services to run their workloads and data in country in their on-premises facilities and connect to their nearest AWS Region for management and operations.
