Customers can now join Amazon Chime meetings on Echo Show 8. We recommend customers simply link their calendar using the Alexa app. Once linked, customers can say, “Alexa, join the Amazon Chime meeting” or “Alexa, join the meeting” at the time of the meeting to enjoy the meeting experience on their Echo Show 8. If customers do not wish to link their calendars, they can also speak the Amazon Chime meeting ID at the time of the meeting to join the meeting.
Customers can easily share their video, view shared content, view a list of meeting attendees and their status, and use other features to turn their audio and video on and off, and provide feedback on the meeting experience. The experience combines the simplicity of Amazon Chime with Echo Show and Alexa features such as high-resolution video, high-quality audio and hands-free meeting join to deliver a high-quality meeting experience for customers’ work or home offices.
