AWS Client VPN has expanded the number of Availability Zones supported inside the US East (Northern Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and Canada (Central) regions. This expansion gives you more zones to choose from and additional flexibility when associating subnets. This change also increases the number of concurrent connections you can make per endpoint in these Regions.

AWS Client VPN enables you to provide highly available and secure VPN access to all of your employees, regardless of their location. As AWS Client VPN is a cloud solution, you don’t need to install and manage hardware or software-based solutions, or try to estimate how many remote users you need to support at any one time. You can choose certificate-based, Active Directory, or SAML based authentication, and benefit from tighter security controls by defining access control rules based on groups. Using a single console, you can easily monitor and manage all of your VPN connections.

AWS Client VPN allows you to choose from AWS VPN Desktop Client or OpenVPN-based clients, giving your employees the option to use the device of their choice.

For more information, see the AWS VPN product page, as well as the administrator and user documentation.
