Amazon S3 on Outposts now supports the ability to monitor your S3 on Outposts events via Amazon CloudWatch. You can now use CloudWatch Events to create a rule for any S3 on Outposts API Event to get notified via all supported CloudWatch targets such as Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS.
Amazon S3 on Outposts delivers object storage to your on-premises AWS Outposts environment to help you meet local data processing and data residency needs. Using the Amazon S3 APIs and features, Amazon S3 on Outposts makes it easy to store and manage data on your AWS Outposts in your on-premises environment.
You can use the CloudWatch console, CloudWatch CLI, or AWS SDK to start consuming Amazon S3 on Outposts events. To learn more about S3 on Outposts CloudWatch Events, review the documentation. This feature is available in all AWS Regions where AWS Outposts is available.
