Streaming ETL jobs in AWS Glue now support SSL client certificate authentication with Apache Kafka stream producers. You can now provide a custom certificate while defining an AWS Glue connection to an Apache Kafka cluster, which AWS Glue will use when authenticating with it.
AWS Glue streaming ETL jobs continuously consume data from streaming sources, clean and transform the data in-flight, and make it available for analysis in seconds. Client authentication support for Apache Kafka allows you to use streaming ETL jobs with a broader range of security configurations.
This feature is available in the same AWS Regions as AWS Glue.
