AWS Gateway Load Balancer is now available in both AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. The expansion into the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions enables U.S. government agencies and contractors to move more sensitive workloads into the cloud by helping them to address certain regulatory and compliance requirements. With this launch, AWS Gateway Load Balancer is now available in 25 regions.
AWS Gateway Load Balancer is a new service that helps you deploy, scale, and manage third-party virtual network appliances such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, analytics, and traffic visibility systems. An addition to the Elastic Load Balancer family, AWS Gateway Load Balancer combines a transparent network gateway (that is, a single entry and exit point for all traffic) and a load balancer that distributes traffic and scales your virtual appliances based on demand.
