Today, AWS Systems Manager Quick Setup announces support for Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS), enabling you to set up Amazon EFS client (amazon-efs-utils) across all the Amazon EC2 instances in your organization with a few clicks. In addition to installing and configuring the Amazon EFS client, Quick Setup also supports periodically updating the client to the latest available version.
The Amazon EFS client includes a mount helper and tooling that makes it easier to perform encryption of data in transit for Amazon EFS file systems. With Systems Manager Quick Setup, you can automatically configure and update the Amazon EFS client on all the instances across the accounts and Regions in your organization.
To get started, choose Quick Setup from the Systems Manager left navigation menu. Systems Manager Quick Setup support for AWS Organizations is available in US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Europe (Paris), and South America (São Paulo) AWS Regions.
