AWS Glue Studio Job Notebooks are now generally available, providing interactive, notebook-based job authoring in AWS Glue. They help simplify the process of developing data integration jobs. Job Notebooks also provide a serverless, built-in interface for AWS Glue Interactive Sessions, another new feature that allows customers to run interactive Apache Spark workloads on demand.
AWS Glue Studio Job Notebooks need minimal setup so developers can get started quickly, and feature one-click conversion of notebooks into AWS Glue data integration jobs. They also support live data integration directly from the notebook, fast startup times, and built-in cost management.
This feature is now available in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and Europe (Ireland).
