AWS Glue Studio Job Notebooks provide interactive job authoring in AWS Glue, which helps simplify the process of developing data integration jobs. Job Notebooks also provide a serverless, built-in interface for AWS Glue Interactive Sessions, a feature of AWS Glue that allows customers to run interactive Apache Spark workloads on demand.
AWS Glue Studio Job Notebooks need minimal setup so developers can get started quickly, and they feature one-click conversion of notebooks into AWS Glue data integration jobs. They also support live data integration directly from the notebook, fast startup times, and built-in cost management. Job Notebooks add no additional cost; customers pay only for the Interactive Sessions they use while authoring.
This feature is now available in all of the same commercial AWS Regions as AWS Glue.
