AWS Launch Wizard now allows you to automate deployment of the SAP NetWeaver JAVA Stack application. This launch expands on existing Launch Wizard capabilities that allow you to automate deployment of solutions including SAP HANA database, SAP NetWeaver, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP S/4HANA in accordance with AWS, SAP, and operating system vendor best practices.
With this launch, customers running JAVA Stack-based applications on-premises such as SAP Process Orchestration or SAP Enterprise Portals or Adobe Document Services can deploy the system using AWS Launch Wizard before migrating the SAP data to AWS. Or, customers implementing new JAVA Stack-based applications can use Launch Wizard to deploy JAVA Stack, then install the application add-on.
AWS Launch Wizard is available in 22 Regions including US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris, Stockholm and Milan), South America (Sao Paulo), US West (N. California, Oregon), Canada (Central), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sydney), Middle East (Bahrain), Africa (Cape Town), China (Beijing, operated by Sinnet), and China (Ningxia, operated by NWCD). AWS Launch Wizard is also available in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
AWS Launch Wizard offers a guided way of sizing, configuring, deploying, and scaling AWS resources for third party applications, such as Microsoft SQL Server Always On and HANA based SAP systems, without the need to manually identify and provision individual AWS resources.
