Starting this week, NoSQL Workbench for Amazon DynamoDB is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West and US-East) Regions. NoSQL Workbench is a client-side tool that helps you design, visualize, and build scalable, high-performance data models, and query Amazon DynamoDB tables with a point-and-click interface.

Previously, NoSQL Workbench was only available as a DynamoDB development tool in commercial AWS Regions. Now developers using the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions can use NoSQL Workbench’s client-side graphical interface to design and create their DynamoDB data schemas. Customers can create data schemas from scratch or by using a sample data model template, complete with sample datasets. You can also deploy and interact with your data model on DynamoDB in an AWS account or DynamoDB local directly through NoSQL Workbench.

Get started with the latest version by downloading NoSQL Workbench from “Download NoSQL Workbench”. NoSQL Workbench is available at no additional cost in all AWS Regions that DynamoDB supports, including the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, and on macOS, Linux, and Windows. For more information, see the developer guide for NoSQL Workbench.
