Amazon EventBridge Scheduler now supports the ability to set schedules to automatically delete upon completion of the last invocation. This can be used for one-time, cron, and rate schedules with an end date.
With Amazon EventBridge Scheduler you can create, run, and manage schedules from one central, managed service. Highly scalable, EventBridge Scheduler allows you to schedule millions of tasks that can invoke more than 270 AWS services and over 6,000 API operations. EventBridge Scheduler's delete upon completion helps manage and clean-up schedules that have completed its last invocation. It removes the need for manual processes or custom code to delete completed schedules saving you time and making it easier to scale.
These enhancements are now generally available in all regions where Amazon EventBridge Scheduler is available. For a complete list of regions and service offerings, see AWS Regions.
