Amazon Monitron is an end-to-end system that uses machine learning to detect abnormal conditions in industrial equipment to enable predictive maintenance. Amazon Monitron includes wireless sensors to capture vibration and temperature data; gateways to automatically transfer data to the AWS Cloud; the Amazon Monitron service that analyzes the data for abnormal machine patterns using ML, and a companion mobile app to set up the devices and receive reports on operating behavior and alerts to potential failures in machinery.
We are excited to announce that the Amazon Monitron service is now also available in Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region. With this regional expansion, Amazon Monitron is available in the following AWS regions: US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland) and Asia Pacific (Sydney). Customers in the Asia Pacific region, can now use the Amazon Monitron service in a more geographically local region and experience lower latency.
In addition, Amazon Monitron devices (Ethernet Gateway, Wi-Fi Gateway and 5-pack Sensors) are now certified for use in Japan and Australia. These devices are available for purchase in Australia marketplace via Amazon Retail and Japan marketplace via Amazon Retail and Amazon Business. To get started, you can purchase Monitron Sensors and Gateways on Amazon websites globally (US, Canada UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Australia and Japan) or use your Amazon Business account to order in US, Canada UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and Japan.
