Amazon Monitron is an end-to-end system that uses machine learning to detect abnormal conditions in industrial equipment to enable predictive maintenance. Amazon Monitron includes wireless sensors to capture vibration and temperature data; gateways to automatically transfer data to the AWS Cloud; the Amazon Monitron service that analyzes the data for abnormal machine patterns using ML, and a companion mobile app to set up the devices and receive reports on operating behavior and alerts to potential failures in machinery.
We are excited to announce the launch of Ex-rated Amazon Monitron sensors. These Ex-rated sensors are intrinsically safe, are certified for use in US, Canada, UK and EU, and can be purchased via Amazon Retail and Amazon Business (US). Customers can now use Monitron to monitor their assets that are located in hazardous locations (gasses, Class 1/Zone 2) by installing these Ex-rated sensors.
In addition to these Ex-rated sensors (TE1A195), Monitron also offers other devices (Sensors (TE1A001), Ethernet Gateway, Wi-Fi Gateway) via Amazon Retail and Amazon Business. To get started, you can purchase Monitron Sensors and Gateways on Amazon websites globally (US, Canada UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Australia and Japan) or use your Amazon Business account to order in US, Canada UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and Japan. The Amazon Monitron service is available in the US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland) and Asia Pacific (Sydney) regions and you can download the Amazon Monitron app from the Apple app store and Google Play Store.
