Amazon QuickSight now supports programmatic user access management by assigning groups to roles

Amazon QuickSight now supports access management by assigning groups to Admin, Author and Reader roles programmatically for IAM Identity Center and Active Directory enabled QuickSight accounts.

With this launch, administrators can manage user access to a QuickSight account through groups throughout the lifecycle of the account using APIs. For production deployments that require programmatic account management, this launch provides API parity for the console based role-group management capability.

This new feature is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon QuickSight is available.
